DimePiece Holiday 2008 all indie

DimePiece’s Holiday 2008 collection is now available. “Inspired by the vintage film, Barberella and fem-bots of the future,” the new collection accompanies the relaunch of the DimePiece website, complete with an updated online store.

The sporty, street-ready leggings, hoodies, are all very MadeMe or Married to the Mob, but the double vision in the lookbook shots is a cross between innocuously creepy and ’80s-interesting. And models Maya and Nandy are actually twins — or The Twinz, right hand ladies to Prince. Yes, that Prince.

The printed leggings especially are a great addition to a line that was once just T-shirts, and could lead DimePiece to becoming a full-fledged lifestyle streetwear brand.  Targeted at ballsy, sexy, assertive chicks,, DimePiece clothing aims to empower women, and reinforce their individuality and expressiveness.
