We’ve all been victims of it. That facial or spa package that just seems so worth the price on paper, even though you know in the back of your mind that it can’t possibly be that way in reality.
The latest culprit in this category are diamond dust and gemstones. Spa treatments and facials list the products in their packages for a number of reasons. One, they up the antee, and two, the gemstones supposedly leave you revitalized and energized. The question is, is it just a complete scam? Expert facialist Tammy Fender says quite the contrary. She says the products really do what they say on paper; however she does say to beware. The gems only work if they’re all natural, but sometimes these spas “manufacture” or even dilute them themselves.
