Tahari’s Fall 2008 Ready-to-Wear collection was shown not on the runway this year but with still models against a backdrop of over sized photo frames. The idea proved to be a smart one, as seeing the pieces up close made them even more gorgeous. The statement was elegant fall, with high waisted skirts, floral blouses, cocktail dresses and chunky knit sweaters cinched at the waist paired with full trousers and leather gloves. A fox and rabbit vest stood out as did a fluffy fur jacket and stunning corset top tube dress in all black. The men’s collection was equally pleasing, with button down shirts and semi-casual denim or gray dress wear.
