Rodarte‘s film, The Curve of Forgotten Things debuted online today at Nowness.com. The Todd Cole-directed short stars ingénue of the moment, Elle Fanning, who has favorably worn Rodarte on several occasions recently. Video after the jump!

Elle Fanning Gets Forgotten in The Curve

The plot, if you can call it that, seems to revolve around Elle improbably walking through nature in an impossibly chic Rodarte dress when she finds a house that changes her clothes every time she twirls into a different room. Then she goes into the barn where she’s beamed up to the mothership by Kate and Laura Mulleavy so they can dress her for the Oscars.

At least that’s what I think happened. Check out the video and decide for yourself.

Story by Lester Brathwaite

I was center square from 1969 to 1978, during which I perfected the art of the zing as well as a crippling cocaine addiction. Bea Arthur was responsible for both. @LesFabian lester at fashionindie.com
