The Mulatto Warhol?

         January 10th, 2007

This is a sale that was recently sent to us. Here is what we found in the “About” section of this designer’s website. Be warned, we’re still trying to understand what’s it all about…

“Bobby Amos is an artist, living and working in New York, hailing from a wonderful city called Jacksonville, Florida. He is a living satire of American culture. He is the premier artist of the United States of America. He is the King of Art. He is The Red Artist. He is the people’s artist. He’s Bobby Bobby International, The Mulatto Warhol. He’s a neo feminist pro-abstinence, European/African American ethnocentric, misogynist, racist, liberal, southerner. He is America. He is Western Culture. He is the televised revolution. He is the phenomenon of capitalism. He is the American Artist. His work, and the work of others, satirizes, explores, examines, criticizes, and glorifies American culture. His logo is R. R is the first letter of his name, but it means what you feel it means. It means what his work represents. But if it means anything, it’s the voice of a younger American generation, patriotism to a different pitch, and free democratic thought. All Bobby Amos merchandise is “made in the U.S.A.”, with a goal to provide quality ethical merchandise, as opposed to unethical merchandise, at an affordable price, with satisfaction guaranteed.”

Um…ok.

Anywho, check out the sale on his line of screen printed basics. Almost everything on the site is under $20 bucks.
