Al Gore Supports Indie Eco-Fashion

         January 13th, 2007

Ok, so maybe that statement is false, but I’m sure it would be true if he heard about Habana Outposts Recycle Reject Shop, aka H.O.R.R.S. Using only recycled clothing, this indie shop in Fort Greene, Brooklyn is an extention of the very popular, eco-friendly Habana Outpost Cafe.

What you’ll discover at this quaint shop, nicknamed The Stroll, are fashion designs for the enviromentally conscience. Instead of creating waste by using new fabrics and materials, every designer at this shop creates garments from existing clothes. The result is a truly unique smorgasborg of one-of-a-kind creations that are functional, and stylish.
