An Indie Fashion Fillet with a side of Fashion Salad

         January 15th, 2007

Fashion Indie is aware of the difficulty of producing a fashion line. That’s why we search the web for the best resources for upstart designers. This is a recent find that we strongly support, a foursome force of websites dedicated to helping indie designers. They call themselves Fashion Salad, not sure what it means but I’m sure it’s not edible.

Here’s the info:
Fashion Salad is proud to present to you Apparel Search.com, a fashion bible to anything and everything to do with the fashion industry from models to textiles suppliers.

Apparel Search

And now Apparel Search has launched three online job sites that are free to the apparel marketplace. Both ClothingIndustryJobs.com and FashionJobSearch.com offer descriptions and links for a diverse range of open positions, from executive sales roles to manufacturing and design jobs.

The third site, DesignerSearch.com facilitates connections between fashion and textile industry artists, designers, and design studios. Designers can post their portfolios and employers can use search tools to find artists and designers. Freelance bonus!…potential employers can contact project seekers without seeing the artists full contact information.

Take this resource and run with it!
