The Pat Pack: Field’s Discovers Rock Stars Make The Best Employees

Ahhh, New York City in the 80’s, New Wave, Danceteria, and neon colors everywhere. So gaudy and over the top, I wish I could’ve been there. But alas, I get trapped in the post “Sex in the City” era, where shoes cost more than a month’s rent and celebrity designers are a dime a dozen.
This of course all has a point. Patricia Field. The stylist who first introduced Miss Bradshaw to Mr.Manolo insists on hiring only the most fab fashionistas of the NYC nightlife set to work in her store. Die J Mars is one of these carefully selected club kids, responsible for making the dance floor what it is.
By day he tends to Patricia Field’s 302 Bowery flagship in wild ensembles of rock & roll couture. By night he’s spinning tunes on the turntables left and right at downtown’s hottest clubs, or performing in his band RISE with his sexy co-stars Shelly Ebner and Elaine Benavides. He’s basically the club scenes answer to Batman.
If you’re looking for style clues simply look at these electro pop music makers. Their unshakable resolve to push the boundaries of “what’s in” make them a prime target for flattery through imitation.
