         November 12th, 2007

CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund Vote

The Council of Fashion Designers of America and Vogue may be waiting till November 15th to choose which emerging designer will win the big money this year, but the Indies have spoken and Philip Lim is the only winner they see. Dominating 42% off the vote the Limster came on top for his collection of womenswear. Great news for Lim who has garnered tons of attention for his Spring 2008 collection. Coming up in a far second were Victoria Bartlet of VPL (Visible Panty Line for those unfamiliar with acronyms) and Vena Cava, who tied for second place with 11% of the total vote. Band of Outsiders came a close fourth with 9% of the vote. In dead last was menswear designer Michael Bastian who only received 4% off the total vote. See who wins on Thursday by checking it hear on Fashion Indie Friday.
