Sinners & Saynt: All for Africa Makes Me Feel Warm Inside

Last night Busie and I attended an All for Africa executive committee meeting to discuss the up coming Knock Out Poverty event. For those of you who aren’t within our daily earshot the event is a multi-million dollar endorsed extravaganza, which will include live celebrity performances, multiple boxing matches, and a massive amount of entertainment. The goal is to fill an arena with 22,000 people dedicated to saving Africa and raise millions to fund a huge initiative on the continent which will provide grants to over 700 charities and causes.

During the meeting we raised the possibility of creating merchandise for the event. The merchandise will be sold across the US with proceeds to benefit the charity. Here’s the idea and if you think you can help be sure to comment. We want to connect a company like Everlast to an independent designer. The designer will recreate the classic Everlast line and make a limited edition capsule collection to be sold in stores across America and online. We think this is very doable since A) a company like Everlast rarely has the opportunity to connect to a charity that is boxing focusses, B) we already have a designer lined up that would provide a big enough name for this and C) we flippin rock!!!
