Couldn’t have happened to a better guy, Malan is wonderful.

We are proud as peaches to announce that following tonight’s episode of “Project Runway,” Bravotv.com will premiere it’s first-ever “we-totally-made-this-on-our-own” web show, starring the one and only Malan Breton.

After his being “auf’d” from “Project Runway” in Season three, we were flooded with the notorious “Bring Malan Back!” campaign. We couldn’t get him back on Runway for season three, but we could follow him around with a video camera for a year and a half.

And so, tonight, at 11pm ET, we bring to you, “The Malan Show,” following Malan as he continues to find his way through New York City. Watch as he opens his first shop, gives advice to unsuspecting passers-by, makes a dress for one of our writer friends, and finally, achieves his life-long dream of showing in the tents at this season’s Mercedes fashion week.

So Fashionista.com just ran this article about Fashion Week and Project Runway designers who will be showing during fashion week. I know our boy Malan Breton will be showing but he’s not mentioned or is he? Don’t know if there is beef between the two but will be sure to investigate. This is truly the strangeness. Will investigate it but why the hateration towards Malan?

Season One alumna Alexandra Vidal has shipped herself from Miami for the occasion, and she’ll show her Fall ‘08 collection at the Bryant Park Hotel on Tuesday, February 5.

Ms. Vidal stacks her appointments against the Marc by Marc Jacobs show, Tory Burch, Matthew Williamson (who’s back from London), and Narciso Rodriguez, and according to her website, she goes like this:

“Discriminating women with impeccable taste, her clients include many whose names regularly appear in the society pages and in fashion magazines. They have sought her out for her individualized creations whose colors, fabrics and details make them stand out.”

Will this black girl be the “bitch”? You know they always are (goddamn racist editors). Wholey moses it’s Santino pushing us a Saturn!!! That Rasputin still has a job!!! Tim Gunn never changes. It’s weird, it’s like he’s always in the same suit. I would pay to see him in shorts and a tee shirt. All the models look old. Oh snap the walk. Love Nina. Heart her more than Winnie. Apparently, Jack Mackenroth, an openly gay, HIV-positive contestant on Project Runway Season 4 is all in a tissy about getting kicked off the show. A source claims “he got kicked off not because he lost a challenge, but because he got a ’staph’ infection and said his face blew up like the kid from ‘Mask’.” Ill. With four weeks till the premiere of Project Runway Season 4, only time will tell if it was his infectious outbreak or tasteless fashion sense that got him the one-two “Auf Wiedersehen” from Klum and crew.

Project Runway alum Laura Bennett will be returning to the Bryant Park this season and all we can say about her designs is that it looks like she drew inspiration from a Pigpen, which is probably great considering she’s one of the designers behind MetLife’s Snoopy in Fashion charity fashion show.Drawing inspiration from classic Charles Schulz characters, the show will feature the designs of Isaac Mizrahi, Alice + Olivia and Betsy Johnson.
