Street Zero: Jean Paul Gaultier

When Jean Paul Gaultier decided to strut this piece of his collection on the runway, he fell into a horrifying trap. There are too many things wrong with this. First of all, whoever said it was suitable to shave a mans legs and strut them on display needs serious help. I think he was hoping the mustache would save his masculinity. Bad news Jean, you were strongly mistaken.

It’s not even as if the objective of this look has been rejected; it’s not even communicated. I don’t have the slightest clue where he was going with this. Look at this model from the waist down and it looks as if he’s about to go sip some margaritas by an infinity pool as he lays in his underware, posing as a speedo behind the tassels. Look at him from the waist up and I’m not even sure where he can be seen, my guess would be no where, which is basically the point.

Accessories could have possibly saved him; however, those are all wrong too. The hat and odd smirk on his face push him completely off the edge of the cliff. I don’t think it’s possible, but someone, if you could, please save him!

Story by Marissa Moshell, Student

When I started this internship I was a quiet, innocent, polite girl. Now I find myself bashing poorly dressed celebrities and trannys thanks to the influence of Daniel Saynt.I am a huge Metro Station fan. My true inspiration for writing is my desire to gain equality for all lactose intolerant folks in the work place. My goal is to prove to the fashion world that we too are people and that we can change the world one Soy Milk mustache at a time!
