The only winner in this trifecta is the first. The look is proportional, cohesive and has personality. The blue jacket/shirt took an otherwise average dress and made it punchy. It is inventive, youthful and effortless. The second ensemble is a mess for the following reasons: The dress is ill-fitting on even the model; the dress itself is busy and pairing it with busy shoes is a no-no - the dress should stand on its own and be paired down with perhaps a singular bold statement type of accessory, like a gold bangle; the bow around the neck looks like an unfortunate after thought and is absolutely unnecessary - it competes with the dress rather than complimenting it. As for the third look, which is possibly the worst, it does not look expensive at all, which it is. The stylist took three odd pieces, all of which have nothing to do with one another, or rather, should have nothing to do with one another, and attempted to create a breezy, weekend in the Hamptons look. Leave this to J-Crew. That is not the sort of look Ms. Furstenberg does best nor the look she aims to create. The stylist should acknowledge the designer's history and vision. Here, he or she failed miserably to create a cohesive look. The jacket with the bikini has potential, but not with that skirt. A better choice would have been a pair of wide-legged summery linen pants in navy, coupled with a sweet pair of flat - preferably shoes to be worn at a beach. Now I must ask, what woman on earth, other than Kimora Lee Simmons would wear gold heels with a bikini?

The first look outshines the rest. Kudos to the stylist behind this fabulous ensemble!
