Yesterday in Bryant Park, Steven Kolb, Isabel Toledo, Hamish Bowles and Fern Mallis celebrated the addition of Diane Von Furstenberg and the late Liz Claiborne – who was represented by her husband, Art Orenberg – to the prestigious Seventh Avenue Fashion Walk of Fame.  Von Furstenberg and Claiborne join the ranks of 24 former honorees – including Marc Jacobs, Donna Karan, Halston, Calvin Klein and Oscar De La Renta. DVF stated:

“A little bit over three decades ago, I came to New York with a few little dresses I had made in a tiny suitcase and a child in my belly, I was terrified of Seventh Avenue. It’s an honor to get this from the very neighbourhood that intimidated me so much.”
