FIRST LOOK: Backstage Gareth Pugh Menswear Fall 2009
There is nothing that enhances an amazing collection more than some phenomenal backstage photos. Gareth Pugh recently showed his Fall 2009 menswear collection at the Audi Fashion Festival in Singapore and photographer Matthew Stone, a close personal friend of Pugh, was close to follow. As if Pugh’s alien, gothic looks weren’t elaborate enough, Stone’s black and white photos really enhance the detail. I love how the overexposed images bring out the texture of the garments and set the eerie, dismal mood for the show.
