Anna Wintour says ballet flats topple high heels
According to New York’s Daily News, US Vogue’s Anna Wintour has decreed that Bloch ballet flats are a must this season.
Is this the start of the high heel backlash? We know that when Vogue Australia editor-in-chief isn’t working a pair of Bally heels she treads our hallowed halls in stylish flats.
We also spotted warning signs at Easton Pearson’s show at the Mercedes-Benz Brisbane Fashion Festival, with models appearing in dance shoes roughly painted with black stripes.
It looks like it’s time for everyone to get en pointe.
