Fashions’ Favorite Space-Pirate
I must say I was shocked when I heard that John Galliano would be making a visit not to Parsons but to the Savannah College of Art and Design during his sojourn in America. However now it comes out today that he is still in New York, bedridden with a 104 degree fever. He was set to pick up the Andre Leon Talley Lifetime Achievement Award. That is not a joke, SCAD really has an award named after the Editor-at-Large at Vogue, the one who told Jennifer Hudson it would be a good idea to wear a metallic bolero to the Oscars.

Galliano seemed fine just days ago when he presented his Dior 2009 Cruise collection in New York. Now the sexy-fashion-pirate has conveniently fallen ill over the weekend. Given his reputation for being able to keep up with hard-partying Marilyn Manson in Paris, me thinks he had a slight case of the Lohans. Nothing some chicken soup and Valium can’t fix. Right Lindsay?
