Georgio Armani Launches Pen Collection

Georgio Armani is adding yet another string to his fashion and lifestyle bow, branching out into the world of stationary with the launch of Giorgio Armani Pens.

“A handwritten note is today more than ever a sign of etiquette, elegance and sophistication. To carry an iconic pen is therefore a symbol of character and style,” he explains.

Enlisting the help of Italian pen maker Tibaldi to create this first series, called the Regal Collection, each pen cap is detailed with Giorgio Armani’s initials and has been created using the highest quality of materials.

Limited to only 199 numbered pieces, the pens will be available individually or as part of a deluxe package.

Can’t designers leave the pen making to Mont Blanc? Does he really need to branch out into this, and what kind of projections do they have for this selling?
