Just because you have the desire to grind your teeth, (thus needing a pacifier) doesn't mean you have a raging libido or anything of the sort. This was obviously written by someone who knows nothing of the culture and is predisposed to giving it negative connotations without any bit of research.

ACTUALLY, there are a lot of people who do belong in the rave culture, cybergoth culture who don't use drugs that use pacifiers.

I myself enjoy some of the cool raver led pacifiers and there are some neat lip shaped ones too, it's comfortable to wear and stops people from randomly making out with you, and I get far less drunk when my mouth is occupied.

A good point to make here is some people actually like looking rather childish, japanese cybergoth rave culture revolves around being cute beyond repair, and a lot of people use unconventional accessories like pacifiers and Ive notices a lot of kids bandaids as nipple covers too ^_^"

Sure it is helpful for drug users, but for others, it is just fashion, like an eyepatch, or a surgical mask, doesn't mean they need the bloody thing to wear it.

Sheesh, don't be so general.
