I love the 60s. If I had my way, I would be at my prime in ‘63, jet-setting between London and New York while partying and wearing psychedelic prints and over-the-knee boots. I of course love the revival of the bright, patterned minidress, and Pucci knows it better than anyone else. These are both Pucci dresses, but one is worn well and the other looks a mess. Nicole Ricci did it right. Natural wavy locks, large sunglasses and simple mary-jane heels work well with the busy pattern. But Christina Aguilera is a different story. Love the dress but the bangs are too thin, her lipstick looks radioactive and her eyes are much too stark for such a busy outfit. She appears to be attending the Wives of Circus Clowns Club’s annual banquet. Tone it down woman, and stick to your pin-up girl aesthetic.
