It Just Keeps Getting Worse
Ever since the 80’s threw up on the street fashion scene, we’ve been constantly assaulted with dookie chains, stonewashed jeans, gazelles, doorknocker earrings a la Salt-n-Pepa, and all things gold and obnoxious. These microphone earrings from Girlprops are no exception in all their hood-fabulous glory. Modeled after the classic studio mic, these dangly little gems come in both gold and silver and are priced at a cheap $7.99 making them all the more accessible. They’re just waiting to be paired with that turntable belt-buckle and boombox necklace ensemble. The bamboo hoops were cool (I still rock mine from time to time) but this is just plain moot. Trendy, yes. Stylish? I think not. Would ya wear these?
