Go Ahead, Get A Rise Out Of Fashion
Talk about innovative materials, designers throughout China have produced several garments constructed entirely out of condoms for this year’s China Reproductive Health New Technologies & Products Expo. Organized by China’s largest condom manufacturer, Guilin Latex Factory, everything from condom wedding dresses to condom bikinis will be strutted, in all their rubbery glory, down the runway. While the goal of these garments is to promote awareness and safety against HIV/AIDS, there is a bigger issue at hand…why is the condom being displayed at a new technology expo? Hmm…I guess that explains China’s astronomical population…
