Big time agree. While the selected blogs aren’t bad blogs, per se, I feel the only reason they were selected was their readership. It’s probably a safe bet that Gucci, by virtue of its size and status in the fashion world is approaching the entire concept of blog publicity as “find us the most trafficked sites and get ‘em to write about us, that way everyone will think we’re hip and progressive”. I will die by the mantra that publishing targeted and focused quality will always win out in the end. That’s why I’m such a fan of fashionindie!
