I do supprt vans I think they make amazing sneakers and tennis shoes and Marisa Miller is obviously an amazing model and draws a big crowd. But where you completely missed the point is that there is no connection between Marisa and Vans. Marisa is a big time model she should be doing high heels or lingerie collections not tennis shoes. It would be like Marc Jacobs designing a loafer for Peyton Manning it just doesn't make sense. But hey, I can't debate the fact that they are sold out even if the people they sold out to are over weight 15 year old girls who are going to start throwing up meals to look like Marisa and SoCal surfer burnouts. She is an amazing surfer and a cultural heavy weight for the surfing lifestyle and vision of the future of "core californian roots.", and as for Vans, they are a Billion Dollar Vanity Fair CORP that has NEVER done a collaboration with anyone, by choice....and this is the first "name brand" they have collaborated with and did a full highend collection, not just one shoe (i.e. M.Jacobs in who I respect).And for your information, they have sold out across the national switchboard to many,many adverse retailers inclusive of Urban Outfitters, Fred Segal,COOP and many other hi-end stores such as Barney's and more.
