H&M Goes Greener

We already know that H&M started an organic cotton collection but now the company has announced that it’s going greener. It plans an even bigger step into organic cotton for Autumn/Winter 2008-2009, and will use other sustainable materials like organic and recycled wool and polyester.

“We are now using organic cotton in all departments,” said H&M’s head of design, Ann-Sofie Johansson.

Among the organic items you will be able to buy are accessories like scarves (left), and recycled wool mix skirts, coats, and trousers.
