I have been aware from a little time about the controversy on hipsters. I maybe could be considered that, some of my friends call me that. I was even able to read a hipster handbook done by some dudes, so I got know how the weight of the archetype was falling over me shoulders. From that standpoint, I come to the following line of thought:  Hipsters, as any social group or mankind itself, tend to be ambiguous in their personal and interpersonal considerations and qualities. By this I mean there is not a real hipster way of things, and biased opinions such as the ones of this article fail to describe the individuals underlying to the social tag.   I think there are hipsters as myself, who am a little vain in my way of dressing and have a particular taste and obsession with culture. There might be some others who follow just a trendy focus, and there also should be hipsters who are really trying to innovate and are good people with no prejudices and all those qualities deemed ideal.   I am against this article and any exaggerated ban or glorification of any cultural penomenon. I am against the lack of objectivism, vanity, and disdain for people. I think some drugged ravers got it right with the "spread the love" attitude.   All these opinions are pervious and fragile constructions.
