Polish couturier Malgorzata Dudek is steadily evolving; she dresses every Polish woman of prominence, and her celeb clientele spands from Europe to Hollywood’s red carpet. So talented is she, that when she set out designing a collection inspired by Swiss artist H.R. Giger, she got his express permission to use his artwork based solely on her sketches. Giger is famous for his biomechanical vision of the world that has shaped architecture, film, music, tattoo art, industrial design, and fashion. He enthusiastically agreed to let her use such motifs as 3D baby heads, laser leather cutting inspired by his airbrushing, and collaborative sunglasses based on Giger’s “Birth Machine“. The result is otherworldly.
