INSPIRATION

Inspired by Carolina Herrera and her duck feathers!

REALIZATION

This show begins with the sounds of Chopin and finds itself in a world of electronic sounds, much like this great line, began and ended. Have you ever seen Robin Hood (feathers in the cap and array of patterns collapsing one after another from the tightly sown vest onto the velvet pants?) Well, imagine Robin Hood gone sexy and sweet for new york women!

Yellow and green chartreuse with highlights of burnt reds clothed these models from head to foot. Khaki riding pants coupled with the occasional chiffon ribbon draping the breeze behind. Very sexy dresses with movement in every direction looked nearly virgin like. The absolute impression that this show has left on me and that I have now transferred to my wardrobe is the idea of feathers, not just any feathers but, unique duck feathers with a design to add to a hat or pinned and weaved into my jacket!

Sitting front row is Anne Wintour, across from me with little to no expression and just the sweet smile that occasionally drew up on her face when she saw something that maybe got her. Carolina Herrera was inspired this season and it resonates in every stitch!
