Q) HOW DID YOU GET INTO MODELING?

A) I moved to Minneapolis from California in January 1994 after the Northridge earth quake. My apartment got destroyed and my ex girlfriend was from there.I was not modeling at the time and wanted to try something different. When I arrived there it was 10 below zero and for a California boy that was hard to deal with. With nothing to do,
freezing cold temps and could not find a job after about a month my ex girlfriend said that i should try modeling. After some coaxing I finally after two weeks took some pictures and submitted them to local agency’s. Two weeks later I got my first job shooting for Target. About a month after my first job and few smaller jobs , I was on my way down to Miami. With no agency hardly any money in my pocket and no idea exactly were I was going, I found myself in a roach infested motel.”Hey it was cheap”! The day after I arrived in SB I went on my own and knocked on all the doors of all the agencies on SB, they all turned me down. At this time it had been about 3 days of being down there and I was so tired of rejection and dead broke, but there was one big agency I did not go see. My ex girlfriend said go see them and if they say no then we’ll go back to Minn. So i finally got up enough courage to go walked in and they said we would love to represent you, I about fell on the floor. 2 weeks Later I was shooting with Bruce Weber for Interview magazine and on my way to Boston to shoot Versace with Claudia Schiffer.
Q) BEST SHOOT YOU DID TO DATE ?

A) Best job so far would be Cartier. To be able to be in the Cartier 100th anniversary book and to be the first person in 75 years to wear the Majaraja necklace was an honor and for Bruce Weber to pick me to were it WOW it was sure a privilege.

Q) WHAT HAS BEEN THE LOGEST FLIGHT YOU HAVE TAKEN FOR WORK

A) Longest flight was 10 hours, Vienna, Austria

Q) YOU HAVE HAD A 15YR WORKING RELATIONSHIP WITH BRUCE WEBER..TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT IT

A) Bruce Weber has been such a great friend. Not only is he one of the worlds best photographers but he is the most wonderful person anyone could ever meet. To have known Bruce for as long as I have has been amazing. He has such a big heart, and is always keeping in touch with me to see how I am doing and making sure I’m ok. I owe a lot to Bruce for his support in my modeling career. He is a special friend.

A) Adriana Lima- Because we share the same last name..LOL

Q) BOZERS OR BRIEFS?

A) Briefs! I run a lot and so boxers would…you know.

Q) YOU WERE VERY VOCAL ABOUT THE ELECTION…HAVE YOU ALWAYS BEEN SO POLITICAL?

A) I started getting political after the 2000 “STOLEN” election and saw that our country was headed for disaster. I knew I needed to get involved and be a voice. I also donated my time to the Obama campaign at the call centers, making phone call and doing what ever I needed to do to bring change to our country

Q) FAVORITE CEREAL

A)My favorite cereal would have to be Oatmeal with blueberry and bananas. OK you got me…Frosted Minnie Wheats.

Q) DESCRIBE YOUR CURRENT WORKOUT REGIME A) My current work out regime is crazy, 3-4 hours a day of cardio. Ill run 12 miles a day, Spin classes, elliptical machine and any other source of cardio I can do. Light weights if any and lots of plyometric workouts and along with core synergistic workouts

Q) HOW DO YOU UNWIND?

A) Unwinding for me is being anywhere where I’m in my RV. Its were I can unwind, relax and take a deep breath also meet and talk to so many incredible people from all over the country. Its a great escape from the hectic travel life that goes along with modeling .I also love to cook, clean and make and take care of my yard, its almost an acre.
Q) FAVORITE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE

A) I’m not a big alcohol drinker but if I were to say what do I like, a nice glass of wine with dinner.

A) My favorite curse word is”FUCK” use it all the time.

A) My favorite movie character would be Rocky,because he over came all odds.

Q) WHAT KIND OF CAR DO YOU DRIVE?

A) Vehicle I drive, 2007 40ft Monaco Diesel Pusher. OOPS!, thats my motor home, Honda Accord.

Q) WHAT ARE THE PROS AND CONS OF MODELING MR LIMA?

A) Pros of modeling would be the people I get to work with, traveling to such amazing places, loving what you do and waking up in the morning when your not working and saying to yourself, what do I feel like doing today. Cons would be airports, airports, airports, delays, delays, delays.hate them.

Q) DESCRIBE YOUR IDEA OF PERFECT BLISS

A) Extreme bliss for me would be knowing that my 2 feet hit the floor every morning and thankful that I’m able to do
something that I enjoy and that also allows me to have the free time to enjoy life..
