It’s Official: LA Fashion Week Sucks…

Lauren Conrad Collection : Is it supposed to look so basic?
The list for designers showing during Los Angeles Fashion Week has just been released. While most of the designers are promising indies like Julia Clancey, Suh-Tahn and Nicholai, a few non-indies managed to sneak their way in. Lauren Conrad will be showcasing her excessively lame, produced by MTV, Laguna Beach wear and the Pussycat Dolls will also be showcasing their new collection of hooker-wear. What no Ed Hardy Collection? The fact that the Pussycat Dolls can now consider themselves designers is enough of a shock to send any up and coming designer for the hills. It’s absolutely ridiculous, but hell, it’s LA.

Reply to leeleeLA Fashion week is a great launching pad for smaller designers…
With your attitudes…no wonder it gets such a bad rap…
Why don’t you shut up…open your eyes…and see the shows in a different light.
LA Fashion Week is not trying to be New York Fashion Week… Yup!
