Kenneth Cole & the Blog

is going blog. The 25 year old fashion label is entering the digital publishing field with an online site dedicated to “Awearness”. As a special treat to bloggers, the first 25 that register on the site on February 18th will receive 50% off their next purchase as Cole’s. What will the blog be about? “Wear” expecting a lot of plays on words (see how I did that. “Wear” instead of “We’re”. Oh, we are so goddamn witty.) At the end of the day will anyone really care? The Colester is still a New York must, but his reach outside the city streets seems a little less than spectacular as industry types have been tattling lately. Guess the blog is his way to reconnect with the disconnected. In any case, I can definitely use a 50% off discount to the store, so I will surely be one of the first on it. Expect a true critique of the site once it launches February 18th.

About the Author: Founder and main dude at Fashion Indie, Daniel Saynt began his career in fashion at the tender age of 14, when he worked in the stockroom for some unnamed fashion whorehouse. His distaste for the mainstream quickly festered until he decided enough was enough, denouncing all mainstream fashion lines (unless the stuffs on sale or just down right irresistible or free, you can't say no to free).
