Lauren and “The Fashion Inquisition”

Lauren has been invited to provide her witty diatribes on fashion matters for Fashion Indie. Watch Lauren as she vents her frustrations about fashion and a myriad of pop culture topics. Some may think that her writing is mean-spirited, not the case she says. Her point of view is one of a fan. She believes that designers, editors, stylist, photographers have a responsibility and an opportunity to create something extraordinary. To Lauren when fashion is done right, it should look like an art piece. However sometimes, okay most times, these people fall short of doing this and its Lauren’s job to keep these fashion people in line.

Lauren is a student at Parsons School of Design and a freelancer at a fashion corporation that shall remain nameless.

Loves: Carine Roitfeld, Diana Vreeland, French Vogue, French Playboy, Large Public Libraries, Vampira, The B-52’s, Vintage Stores and Flea Markets.
