Lily Allen Collaborates with Chanel

There are a lot of assumptions in the two tiny paragraphs you wrote. Mr. Lagerfeld has been around a long time and still creates beautiful, decadent art. I'm sure if he didn't know what he was doing he wouldn't still be around. His choosing this girl that looks like an average type girl ..both in looks and body may be his way of saying " Everyone is beautiful in their own way you don't have to be 90lb 6' model with high cheekbones". First people are upset about what is represented in the fashion world then they get upset if anything changes. Get out of your cage.

How is she a 'failed songstress?" She may not be crazy eccentric and wear pants but I definitely don't see her as failed. She is cheeky, cute, and witty. I like her.

Sorry I'm hating. Used to be a major Lily fan when she was only on MySpace. I was one of her million followers and I really loved her style of music. Unfortunately, she became complacent and failed to evolve while the music industry around her was making changes. She didn't upgrade her sound and even now her music still sounds like she's making it on her 2000 edition of Garage Band.

As for Karl, I think he's an at times misguided genius. I don't think he gives a fuck about Lily Allen, this was just a publicity stunt planned by the Chanel brand managers. He just shows up, makes an appearance, takes a photo and leaves to take pictures of his new naked boy toy of the month. He's probably never listened to this girl perform and wouldn't be able to name his favorite song if asked to.

Remember kiddies, this isn't fashion, it's publicity. Karl is still a genius and his collection is still amazing. But Lily Allen's pretty much a boring singer who needs to figure out what makes her special, cause right now, with her attempts at high-fashion, she's only getting farther away from her initial fan base.

And everyone is not beautiful. Most people are a chore to look at. If you believe everyone is beautiful in their own way you're most likely ugly. And if you're ugly no one gives a flying fuck about what you have to say, so shut up and start saving for surgery.
