Fresh on the heels of a collaboration with Rei Kawakubo of Comme des Garcons, Louis Vuitton is rumored to be teaming up with director Sofia Coppola for a line of handbags and shoes.

With her eye for the obscure and history in film I’m really excited to see what will be the result from this highly unpredictable collabo. 

So what do you think indies, is Sofia the next great designer?  Or should the woman behind Marie Antionette stick to doing what she does best filming fashion behind the camera?
