Marc By Marc Jacobs Swimwear Spring 2009When you think about it,  the term “swimwear” is really ambiguous. There is certainly a fine line between what one would swim in and what one would lounge around and sun bathe in. With style, mobility and price as main factors for bathing-suit buyers, it’s really hard to come across a suit that takes all three into consideration. Well, leave it up to Marc Jacobs to pay attention to all of the above with his newly released swimwear collection.

The  swimwear collection resembles the Marc by Marc Jacobs clothing line, utilizing bright colors, youthful patterns, ruffles, bows, buckles and buttons. From the looks of it, the line looks mobile enough for a surfer but fashionable enough for a tanning queen. Although we don’t know prices yet, Marc by Marc Jacobs is a less expensive line and one would assume his swimwear will follow the same price-lines as the actual collection.
