Marc Jacobs hosted an exclusive dinner at the Serpentine gallery for Louis Vuitton collaborator (and one of his personal favorite artists), Richard Prince. Among the exhibits are several paintings from the Nurses series, which inspired Louis Vuitton’s autumn/winter 2008-9 collection.
“I just love Richard’s approach to art,” Jacobs stated. “I’ve always been a fan and when I approached him to do the Vuitton collaboration, I was thrilled when he said yes. It’s great to be in London for this.”
Just a side note, Marc looks kinda dirty and unkempt, very unlike him lately, he’s looking older (seems the yoga isn’t working as well as it used to), not to mention the overgrown gray beard he’s sporting. Glad the hair isn’t blue though; the breakup must have really taken it’s tole.
