Married to Your Closet?

A little general apparel news…

A UK survey commissioned by Clothes Show Live has revealed that on average women keep their favorite piece of clothing for 12 years.

Reasons range from awesomeness to sentimental value to ideal size. But the kicker is that in the UK the average failed marriage lasts 11.7 years.

Clearly this has more to do with marriage than with clothing, but I wonder if a marriage has ever broken up over an item of clothing. Like it was a deal-breaker or a point of contention for years.

I’m not married, and I haven’t had my Minnetonkas (above) for too long, butĀ if any guy hates on them, I’m dumping him.

From The Telegraph.
