Martha Stewart Defaces Louboutins

Today on the Martha Stewart blog she shares some style secrets. Basically, she hates the red soles on Christian Louboutin’s so she paints them black with a broad sharpie.

Martha, you may just be my hero.

I think this is a great way to showcase your disgust towards branding and identify that the shoes just feel great to wear. Or, you could just be a crazy old woman who likes to flaunt your dislike for labels.

I don’t know which, but I here spray paint works best for the soles and Atomic Pink or Electric blue would be my first color choices. Get noticed while you high-end DIY

About the Author: Founder and main dude at Fashion Indie, Daniel Saynt began his career in fashion at the tender age of 14, when he worked in the stockroom for some unnamed fashion whorehouse. His distaste for the mainstream quickly festered until he decided enough was enough, denouncing all mainstream fashion lines (unless the stuffs on sale or just down right irresistible or free, you can't say no to free).

  1. She should demand they make them in Martha’s signature blue.

  2. Daniel!! I am in L.O.V.E. with the new look!!!

  3. OH no! What will the “wannabe” fashionistas do if the Louboutins lost the red bottoms?

    P.S. Daniel, you inspire me!

  4. Thanks Avenue Swank. I’ve never inspired but I appreciate the thought.
