The Royal Wedding may have faded away into fashion and historic lore, but Mattel is still trying to squeeze a few more coins out of it. The dollmaker is introducing commemorative Prince Ken William and Barbie Kate Middleton figurines this year to coincide with the royal couple’s one year anniversary.
The doll duo look plastically perfect with Kate’s Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen wedding gown being replicated down to the lace and faux pearl buttons with diamond-esque earrings and a shiny tiara to complete the look. Will on the other hand has his Irish Guard uniform and even some tiny medallions for good measure.
The dolls are available for pre-order at Barbie Collector for $100 so you can re-enact the Royal Wedding to your heart’s desire…and then cry into Barbie Kate’s veil when you realize exactly what you’re doing. [MSNBC]
Sidenote: Prince Ken William is a total fox. Just sayin’.
