If any of you out there on the interwebs have tried your hand at photography, you know that sensation when your subject did something perfect, beautiful. There’s an excitement to capturing that moment. And then you might also know the feeling after developing those photos when you are a half a second too late. You missed that moment, forever lost in time. That beautiful image: gone.

There has been a convergence of photography and film lately. Even wedding photographers and little old “senior portraitists” are noting that this generation wants their photos just like their movies- full of action, creatively designed backgrounds- whether realistic or graphically imagined via the magic of Photoshop. Our generation expects it. We are spoiled.

The recent June Issue of Esquire with Megan Fox will capture anyone’s attention… She’s gorgeous. But check out this link and you will find that the images from this shoot were not captured with any regular ol’ camera. They were captured with a Red ONE camera. The Red ONE produced 4x the high definition we expect now in movies and photos. And most extraordinarily it captures the images in the form of a mini-movie. There she is, beautiful Megan Fox, captured exactly in that perfect moment. Imagine the sensation of know you have thousands of perfect moments from which to choose images. It could be quite daunting. And definitely beautiful.
