Warning: M.I.A’s new clothing line may cause seizures! Inspired by a Carribean albino teenager (no, I’m not kidding) named Okley Leslie, M.I.A’s line, Okley Run, is anything but unexpected. Basically, her overpriced and over-designed tees, hoodies, leggings and tanks look exactly like her album art. We’ve got a little bit of Mexican, African and Islamic art going on. Who knows, wear any of these items with M.I.A’s signature gold metallic leggings and you might be mistaken for the rapper herself! Come on M.I.A, shouldn’t you spend a little less time on your awful clothing line and a little more time on deciding what to name your baby? Corey and I discussed this…we think S.O.S or A.W.O.L would be excellent choices. Better yet, put your spare time into recording a new album…I’m dying for some more pop/rap/afro-beat tunes!
