The fashion scene is Brooklyn has become a veritable hodgepodge of great looks for the new Bohiem. Every week we discover a new talent carving a path for themselves in the outer city. One of our favorite designers is Vena Cava, the recent CFDA/Vogue nominee that has been packing the shelves of local boutiques with row after row of wearable treats. The work of Brooklyn residents, Lisa Mayok and Sophie Buhai, Vena Cava has transversed the local landscape to give us a fresh take on girlish chic. Originally from L.A. and Pasadena, their hometown influences can be clearly seen in their spring 2008 collection. Check it out…
