About the Author

Founder and main dude at Fashion Indie, Daniel Saynt began his career in fashion at the tender age of 14, when he worked in the stockroom for some unnamed fashion whorehouse. His distaste for the mainstream quickly festered until he decided enough was enough, denouncing all mainstream fashion lines (unless the stuffs on sale or just down right irresistible or free, you can't say no to free).

Mister Morts Rules For Man

Dejour Magazine has just introduced a new series in which they interview a different style savant about their rules. Check out Mister Mort (aka Mordechai S. Rubinstein) of Jack Spade for his views. Check them out.

A man should always be genuine.

A man should never don women’s jeans.

A man Is in serious trouble when wearing a shirt untucked with a tie before midnight.

If you can’t have a Hasselblad, at least have a Lumix.

Personally, I find new menswear repulsive, because it isn’t genuine.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. When in need, a clandestine trip to Jamaica or Paris will make everything better.

There is not much better in this world than Wagwan Radio on Sunday afternoons.

If there ever were a rule that begged on its knees to be broken, it is wearing seersucker or a straw hat after labor day.
