Moment of Style: Recess with L.A. Gear

Face it- you will never be as cool as you once were in your L.A. Gears. These illuminating wonders were the kindergarten couture of grade school recess. They spit mad game in gym class, made you faster during “red rover” and drove every parent nuts due to incessant stomping. I remember mine like it was yesterday…snow white, silver details and bright neon pink and orange lights that could blind a rhino. This is a trend that must be resurrected ASAP. If I ever get the mom gene, the only shoes my kids will wear are Chucks and L.A. Gears.
