Moments of Style: Katie Holmes

This outfit has received some controversy, but I must say that I kinda like it. Not sure if it’s a onesie with a lace top underneath or one piece entirely, but I do like it. Her choice of jewelry and shoes is another story.

So I posted this and one of my writers send me this exact photo bashing Katie for her outfit. Here’s what she had to say:

What the hell is going on here? This outfit reminds me of when I would try to make my mom mad by putting on clothes from her 80s archive closet and wear them out in public to cause a scene. “You look embarrassing,” she would say. “Forget going to the mall unless you change.” Katie Holmes, you look embarrassing. You are supposed to be making a good impression at the opening of your Broadway show, not making the critics think you’re completely insane. One piece or the other woman; sometimes less is more.

What do you indies think? Hit or miss?
