If there is one thing I’ve learned about fashion over the years, it’s that you can find it in the strangest places. I was watching one of my favorite movies, Snatch, the other night and realized the gypsies are super hip. The chunky ghetto-fab chains, sweater vests and track jackets look great paired with their effortless, “fuck you” attitudes. But my favorite element about this band of wild boys is their dirty and unruly hair. I’ve decided to dub Jason Flemyng’s hairdo the “gypsy mullet,” and I guarantee we will see it walking through the city streets in no time.
I stole my first pair of platforms from the Spice Bus in 1997 when Anglophilia was all the rage. Collector of vintage bags, vinyl and kitchen appliances.
