Laugh at me if you must, but I am loving the new Elizabeth and James collection by Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. Really, I did not expect such couture looks from two girls best known for their pre-teen spy movies, but what can I say, I am quite impressed. So what is the collection like? Well, believe the description on the Elizabeth and James website, because I couldn’t have described it better myself:

Inspired by the mix of uptown and downtown, masculine and feminine, and casual and dressy, the Elizabeth and James collection is unique in the mixture of androgynous menswear inspired blazers and shirts with delicate mini-dresses, feminine detailing, sequins and unusual fabrics.

But don’t be fooled, just because this is a star collaboration collection doesn’t mean it’s cheap. Be prepared to fork over $270 for the Eliza vest or $765 for the Plume skirt.
