New Era Knocks Off Louis Vuitton

lv again

We love The Satchel for his ability to catch things like this. Apparently has decided to copy the iconic print for a new like of signature caps.  The bootleg print is by Olako’aka, which means we know who to blame for being unoriginal and stealing from the Marc. The best part is Hyperbeast’s quote on the subject, “This version emulates a LV pattern so this satisfies those with a luxurious taste as well as those seeking traditional cultural satisfaction.”  So basically, we know it’s a bootleg, you know it’s a bootleg, but since Jacobs refuses to create a line of hats to match the Chinatown knock-off you got her for Christmas, this is all we can give you.

About the Author: Founder and main dude at Fashion Indie, Daniel Saynt began his career in fashion at the tender age of 14, when he worked in the stockroom for some unnamed fashion whorehouse. His distaste for the mainstream quickly festered until he decided enough was enough, denouncing all mainstream fashion lines (unless the stuffs on sale or just down right irresistible or free, you can't say no to free).

    Aloha, fashion indie,

Please check your facts….. New era manufactured the hats and it was created by people who have an appreciation for LV and the damier print. Further more, the hand cut art work within your so called bootleg print is called olakoaka which is a graphic representation of coral which is also backed by NOAA as the offical print for the year if the reef….

Whoever decided to write this should really do some research before leading others into misconception….

Nothin you said its really necessary to the article. It is a New Era hat that has a ripped off print on it and who really cares about New Era anymore anyways its a dying/dead trend to most people.

Totally agree. New Era is for left over hip hop rock star wannabes who feel special paying $50 for a baseball cap. It’s the ghetto version of the trucker hat and it’s been out for about as long Fresh Prince’s been white.
