I’m usually not the biggest advocate for the preppier or more conservative looks, but designer Nicholas K completely reversed my bias with his Spring 2009 collection. While this is a more feminine take on the androgynous collections that are swirling about the fashion world, Nicholas K brings some new and interesting pieces to the table. I absolutely love the baggy Bermuda shorts, especially paired with the platform heels, as well as the awesome cut-out blazers and voluminous jackets. What really makes this collection stand out is its bohemian vibe all while maintaining a a preppy feel with urban cuts. The Nicholas K men’s Spring 2009 collection is very similar and is equally as preppy, with a hint of edge of course!
