LOOKBOOKS editor-in-chief Cator Sparks got the scoop backstage at Exit Art for the Geoffrey Mac Fall 2012 show. Check out all the behind-the-scenes action below.

We gladly support any designer who has done looks for Lady Bunny and Nicki Minaj, so we zipped over to Geoffrey Mac to check out the buzz. “Humans are taking on a new form in a new era!,” Mac told us. But that didn’t seem to really be what worried him. “I am trying to keep my collection wearable but fine art related.” The lovable Cody Ravioli did the wigs. That’s alot of bubble cuts you have there: “Oh girl, it was alot of teasing, smoothing and kicking the dogs out of the room so they wouldnt gag on Aqua-net!,” she giggled as she sprayed and backcombed.

Eddie Martinez did the makeup and wasn’t timid with his brush. “Since it is the end of the world we are doing a strong eye, keeping the skin a soft matte with a pale lip.”

Between the zipped shoulder pads exposing tongue red linings and harness topped dresses, we are looking forward to seeing more from this downtown createur.
